الوصف: Herein we present dataset from vibrational spectroscopy study aimed in the development of calibration models for quantification of alprazolam in low content powder blends. Powder blends with varying content of alprazolam and lactose monohydrate, employed as a common diluent in solid dosage forms, were prepared and analyzed by Raman, mid- and near- infrared spectroscopy. The presented data is related to the research article “A comparative study of infrared and Raman spectroscopy as PATs for low-API content solid dosage forms: the case of alprazolam”. The data are presented as raw Raman, MID and NIR spectra obtained from alprazolam: lactose monohydrate blends with varying content. In addition, appropriate spectra from the pure substances are provided. The spectra are given in .spc format, and organized in appropriate folders (Raman spectroscopy, MIR and NIR). The MIR and NIR spectra are additionally organized into subfolders named according to the alprazolam content in the powder blend (Aplrazolam x %). The Raman spectra are provided as average spectra of 36 scans obtained from the mapping of the samples and are named according to the alprazolam content in the powder blend. The spectra of the pure substances are named as Alprazolam pure substance and Lactose monohydrate pure substance, respectively.
