| الوصف: | In this article that we now present, we aim to underline and discuss how Afro-Amerindian religiosity, which is expressed through its adepts, gods, territories and ways of thinking, being and acting, is aestheticized by the literary creativity of the modernist writer and popular culture researcher Mário de Andrade in the book Macunaíma.Starting from the assumption that the historical and literary character Tia Ciata is one of the first Oxum’s priestess represented in the pages of Brazilian Literature, we are interested in pointing out if and which conceptions about the Afro-religious experience we inherit or waive from Andrade's work. In order to do so, we will analyze, in the chapter “Macumba”, the construction of some characters and their relationships, keeping possible mythical and religious approximations on the horizon. ; Neste artigo que então apresentamos, objetiva-se sublinhar e discutir de que forma a religiosidade afro-ameríndia, a qual se expressa através de seus adeptos, deuses, territórios e modos de pensar, ser e agir, é esteticizada pela criatividade literária do escritor modernista e pesquisador da cultura popular Mário de Andrade, na obra Macunaíma. Partindo do pressuposto de que a personagem histórica e literária Tia Ciata é uma das primeiras sacerdotisas de Oxum representadas nas páginas da Literatura Brasileira, interessa-nos assinalar se e quais concepções acerca da experiência afrorreligiosa herdamos ou renunciamos da obra de Andrade. Para tanto, analisaremos, no capítulo “Macumba”, a construção de algumas personagens e as relações que possuem, mantendo no horizonte possíveis aproximações míticas e religiosas. |
