الوصف: It is stated in scientific literature that computers provide the children of pre-primary age with the fascinating opportunity to act and explore the surrounding world. Therefore, it inevitably conditions the new culture in the education of children. Despite the holistic education of preprimary children, the playing remains the prevailing activity for them. Games are the means of living and educating for children. As manufacturing technologies were developing, the toys and games also underwent a change. Besides, the achievements in the domain of electronics encouraged the development of computer technologies. The computer games nowadays are the new form of playing activity for children. However, the relevant problem is that most children of pre-primary age do not begin using computers in educational institutions. The children become computer users at home under the supervision of parents who are not always able to recomend or choose the appropriate computer game. The research was accomplished to examine the peculiarities of the use of the computer games in preschool age: the children of preschool age were interviewed and their parents were surveyed using questionnaires. Nineteen children of preprimary age and nineteen their parents participated in the research. According to the outcome of the research, all the children questioned are able to use the computer and use it. Their most favorite activity is paying the computer games. It should be stated that children not always choose the computer games suitable for their age. Moreover, they are not properly familiarized with educational programs and know a few websites intended for children.
