The emergence of artificial intelligence (AI) is indeed leading to major technological upheavals that are profoundly redefining the dynamics of the job market. The rapid advancements in AI and automation are not only transforming organizational processes but also altering the skills required for success in the professional world. While in the past the focus was primarily on technical skills, or "hard skills," the rise of AI highlights the growing importance of non-technical skills, also known as "soft skills." Abilities such as empathy, critical thinking, collaboration, and creativity are becoming essential, as they remain out of reach for machines. This paper examines the evolution of soft skills in this new context and analyzes how these skills are being developed and adapted in response to the progress of AI. |
