It is proved that state regulation of the economy is a separate integral direction of the state policy of ensuring the socio-economic development of the country, which is implemented by the authorities of all levels on an ongoing basis using the necessary tools, institutional, resources, methodological and other support to increase the efficiency of functioning, achieve positive changes in the system of the national economy and its structural elements, prevent negative trends, development of the economy and society, the impact of risks and threats to national security and its structural and functional components. The article is aimed at systematizing approaches to updating the state regulation of the national economy, justifying the causality of the model of economic progress and social stability. It is proposed to consider the essential characteristic of the definition of ‘state regulation of the economy’ using instrumental, environmental, anti-crisis, methodological, resource-functional, and institutional approaches. The actualization of state regulation of the development of national economies is determined by the latest global challenges – natural and man-made emergencies, the Covid-19 pandemic, hybrid wars, demographic challenges, technological changes, economic globalization processes, political instability, environmental problems, etc.; among which the problem of the development of migration processes, changes in their intensity, methods, and consequences are of particular attention. Migration risks and threats increasingly determine the state of economic security of the state, having an impact on all its components – macroeconomic, financial, foreign economic, production, food, investment, and innovation, social, demographic, and energy. |
