From the fact that a lot of coordination compounds of bio-metals with bio-bonds present a higher medical and biological activity compared to initial compounds, there is interest manifested in carrying out a synthesis of coordination compounds of bio-metals, such as copper II, nickel II, cobalt II with thiosemicarbazone and 4-phenyl-thiosemicarbazone, which play an important role in the assortment of pharmaceuticals. Due to that, this work focuses on the synthesis of new coordination compounds with antiproliferating activity, improvement and elaboration of new synthesis methods, research on chemical, physic and biologic properties of the obtained substances. Later on, was synthesized a number of complex compounds of Cu II with thiosemicarbazone and 4-phenyl-thiosemicarbazone pyridine-2-carboxaldehyde, which, at the concentration level of 10-5mol/L, inhibit from 60% to 90% of leukemia myeloid human cells HL60. Further in the study, it was shown how anti-proliferating activity was influenced by the change in the central atom and introduction of substituents in the pyridine ring of pyridine-2carboxaldehyde. In relation to this, were synthesized bonds, whose synthesis schema can be presented in the following manner: where R=CH3, Br , R1=H, C6H5 With these bonds, we synthesized a number of complex compounds of CuII, CoII and NiII. Based on the basic analysis and physic-chemical properties we established the following compounding of the synthesized substances: ML-HX, where M=Cu, Ni, X=NO3, Cl; MLX, where M=Cu, X=SO4; ML-H2X, where M=Co, X=Cl. The structure was established with the help of X-rays for the complex CoL-H2Cl-H2O, where R, R1=H. In this complex, Cobalt manifested the coordination number 6 and is bonded through pyridine, azomethine nitrogen and sulfur atoms. It was determined that in the majority of cases copper compounds and, namely, the ones with 4-phenyl-thiosemicarbazone, inhibit leukemia myeloid cell growth. In the case of 4-phenylthiosemicarbazone 2-acetylpyridine cobalt and nickel compounds show high ... |
