The article is devoted to the study of the development of the urban structure of Perge, located in the historical region of Pamphylia in the IV-VI century AD. On the General background of continuity continuity is important to identify the key points of urban transformation, showing the transformation of the Perge in early Byzantine urban center. The departure from the principles of arrangement of the Roman city in Perge was manifested in changes in the functionality of ancient buildings, their reconstruction, the development of new spaces within the city boundaries, the decline and desolation of once busy urban areas, the reorientation of some quarters and changes in the city infrastructure. |
