ÖZ Bu makale, özellikle Müfredât’ı olmak üzere kendisinden çokça yararlanılan ama kendisi hakkında çok az bilgi ve çalışma bulunan; var olan bilgilerin de ihtilaflı olduğu çok yönlü bir müfessir olan Râğıb’ın hayatı, eserleri ve etkin ve yetkin olduğu bilim dallarındaki pozisyonunu ortaya koymaya çalışacaktır. Râğıb’ın hayatı hakkındaki bilgiler, çok yetersizdir; mevcut olanlar da ya yanlış ya da ihtilaflıdır. Doğum tarihinden ölüm tarihine; itikaden, hukuken ve amelen hangi mezhebe tabi olduğuna kadar birçok mesele sorunludur. Maksadımız, ulaşabildiğimiz tüm bilgileri değerlendirmek suretiyle sahih bir Râğıb portresi çıkarmak; tefsîrci olarak bilinen müellifin -anahatlarıyla da olsa- çok yönlü boyutunu ortaya koyabilmektedir. Makalenin sınırlarını zorladığından dolayı, akademik mirası başka bir çalışmaya bırakılacaktır. ABSTRACT A Famous but Less-Known Versatile Scholar: Raghib al-Isfahani This article will try to present Râghib al-Isfahânî’s life, personality, theologicaljuridical-sufistical sects and multidimensional scientificity that he is effective and competent, who is a versatile commentator. Raghib is a person who widely utilized from him especially his Müfredât and that there are very little information about him and the existing information are also disputed. Information about Raghib’s life is a very inadequate; the existing ones are wrong or controversial. Dates of death and birth, the sect he belong to it teologically and juridically, attributing their work to him, all these are problematical. Our aim is to put an authentic portrait of Raghib and to present a multi-faceted dimension of him who known as an exegete –though outline size- by evaluating all the information about himwhich we are able to reach. For forcing the limits of the article, his academical heritage will be left to another study. |
