In this study, we selected four common rigid emergent plants, and the respective artificial acrylic plants to investigate the scouring effects in a flume experiments. Each plant was pre-planted and incubated in the flume with a lower flow rate for one month for plants’ root system development. Afterwards, the flow rate was gradually increased every two weeks. The slope of the channel used is 2% of the slow-flow and rapid-flow boundary, and the flow rate was adjusted from 20 L/min to 100, 150, and 200 L/min. Image analysis and laser cutting and scanning terrain method were used to obtain the topographic changes caused by scouring through rigid emergent plants and the erosion amount was compared with the acrylic stick artificial plants under the same water flow conditions, and the growth of plants were recorded weekly. Based on the experimental results, we compared the scouring effects under the existence of natural and artificial emergent plants. As the results, the flow cross section was compressed by the existing plants. However, soil erosion and scouring effects were alleviated in the natural plants region compared to those in the artificial plants, which indicated the importance of plant root system in soil erosion mitigation. ; 本研究選用真實的四種常見剛性挺水植物,以及人工材料模擬植物(壓克力柱),規則排 列種植於渠槽內進行沖蝕實驗。每一株植物須於管道內預先以較低流量水流進行一個月的預種 植,使植物的根系紮根固定土壤,之後每兩周逐步調高流量,使用的渠槽坡度為緩流與急流分 界坡度 2%,流量依序由 20 L/min 調升到 100、150、200 L/min。以影像分析搭配雷射切葉掃描 地形方法獲得水流流經剛性挺水植物造成的地形變化及沖蝕量與模擬植物之壓克力柱區於相 同水流條件下進行比較,並於每週紀錄植物的生長情形。由沖蝕地形和沖蝕體積之變化,比較 真實與人工挺水植物對的土壤沖蝕影響,結果指出,因真實或人工植物的存在,壓縮水流斷面 積,但真實植物區的土壤沖蝕體積明顯小於人工植物區,顯示植物根系對降低土壤沖蝕之重要 性。 |
