الوصف: In the past few decades, there has been significant progress in developing an understanding of the role that non-covalent interactions have on the self-assembly and structural order of molecular crystals. This understanding has led to the development of crystal engineering, which is a promising approach to manipulate solid-state structures at the molecular level. Modification of the topochemical nature of the constituent molecules can enhance the ability to manipulate the solid-state properties of single crystals. Controlling the structures at this level may lead to new materials with chemical and physical properties that are desired in practical applications.
