El cabildo de la catedral de Ávila acordó en 1591 reformar y fijar los itinerarios y las ceremonias que debían llevarse a cabo todos los años en las tres procesiones de rogativas o letanías de los tres días previos al jueves de la Ascensión. Se especificaron las iglesias a las que se debía marchar desde la catedral o las que había que pasar en el recorrido, así como las oraciones y antífonas que debían decirse además de la letanía de los santos. The Cathedral chapter of Avila agreed in 1591 to reform and fix the itineraries and ceremonies that were to be carried out every year in the three processions of rogatives or litanies of the three days before the Ascension Thursday. The churches that can be left from the cathedral or those that had to be passed along the route were specified, as well as the prayers and antiphons that should be said in addition to the litany of the saints. |
