The objective of this research essay was to know the process of humoral immunity in allergic contact eczema, as a way of recognizing the mechanisms of action and prevention in this pathology. This objective is achieved through the review of documentary sources that allow us to identify the relevant aspects of this pathology in humans. It has been found that all these reactions have an immunological basis that is characterized by the entry of the antigen into the body, the recognition of the antigen and the response that occurs against it, which in some cases can lead to death. Dermatitis or eczema due to autosensitization (AD) is known as an acute dermatitis located in skin sites far from an inflammatory focus and in which this secondary dermatitis is not explained by the initiating cause of the primary lesion. AD is clinically expressed by various lesions: a) erythematous, morbilliform and urticarial disseminated on the trunk and limbs, which follow a traumatic skin lesion; or b) due to generalized and pruritic papular-vesicular dermatitis secondary to stasis dermatitis in the lower limbs where gravitational eczema of an immune nature caused by different aetiologies developed. ; El objetivo de este ensayo de investigación fue conocer el proceso de inmunidad humoral en el eczema alérgico por contacto, como forma de reconocer los mecanismos de actuación y prevención ante esta patología. Este objetivo se alcanza a través de la revisión de fuentes documentales que permitan identificar los aspectos relevantes de esta patología en el ser humano. Se ha encontrado que todas estas reacciones tienen un fundamento inmunológico que se caracteriza por la entrada del antígeno al cuerpo, el reconocimiento del antígeno y la respuesta que se da frente a este, la cual en algunos casos puede conducir a la muerte.
