| الوصف: | This article aims to understand, based on the eco-innovation approach, the impacts of sewage sludge adoption as agricultural fertilizer by Paraná producers. The theoretical argument that underpins the research is that the eco-innovation process involves economic, environmental and social improvements in the company and for program users, which consequently can provide improvements for society. A qualitative and descriptive research was conducted through a case study, in which data collection occurred through interviews and document analysis. The principles of eco-innovation were met considering the impacts presented in the studied dimensions. In the context of eco-innovation, there was anticipation of rules and regulations promoted by the program, that is, the development of initiatives that culminated in the formulation of specific normative instruments to regulate the activity in the State of Paraná and in the country. For farmers, there were reports of increased productivity and income among those who used sewage sludge. Eco-innovation has influenced the economic, environmental and social development of the company, farmers and the community in which they operate. ; Este artigo tem como objetivo compreender, a partir da abordagem da ecoinovação, os impactos da adoção de lodo de esgoto como fertilizante agrícola por produtores paranaenses. O argumento teórico que sustenta a pesquisa é que o processo de ecoinovação envolve melhorias econômicas, ambientais e sociais na empresa e para os usuários do programa, o que consequentemente, pode proporcionar melhorias para a sociedade. Foi realizada pesquisa de abordagem qualitativa e caráter descritivo, por meio da realização de um estudo de caso, no qual a coleta de dados ocorreu por meio de entrevistas e análise documental.
