LIGNITE AS A FOUNDATION SUBSOIL – CASE OF ZIELONA GÓRAAbstract. The paper presents the conditions of lignite occurrence in Zielona Góra. The genesis of the lignite and geological (glacitectonical) processes were shortly described. Some examples of shallow occurrence of lignite were demonstrated and described. Available data on laboratory testing were also presented. |
