| الوصف: | A quelques années d'un siècle nouveau, en pleine construction européenne et dans une ambiance de dures confrontations mondiales, les forestiers s'interrogent, parfois avec inquiétude, sur le devenir de la forêt et de leur métier. Des réponses peuvent être données par la recherche de structures de long terme à prolongements internationaux qui confirment l'identité et la responsabilité des gestionnaires, par l'assurance de solides liaisons entre la Recherche, la Formation et la pratique du terrain, par la prise en compte de toutes les fonctions de la forêt selon les besoins de l'homme, avec les hardiesses nécessaires, tout en restant prudent et lucide sur la notion de rentabilité dont la clarification s'impose. Cela n'est possible que par le travail soutenu de tous en forêt, chacun participant dans la diversité bénéfique de notre territoire à la poursuite de l'œuvre commune qui joue sur la durée. ; A few years away from a new century, in the course of a wave of European development and in an atmosphere of difficult global disputes, foresters are concerned about the future of forests and of their profession. Answers can be supplied by the search for long-term arrangements with international associations which confirm the identity and responsability of the managers, by the maintenance of strong links between research, training and practical work in the field and by taking into account all the functions of forests in relation to human requirements as decisively as necessary, while remaining cautious and objective about cost-effectiveness, the clarification of which is essential. This will not be possible without the sustained efforts of all those involved in forestry, each working towards the common purpose of ensuring the continued existence of forests and forestry in the wonderfully varied landscapes of our country. |
