This bilingual term-list is based on two previously separate lists: one for cognitive linguistics (published in Literator in 2008), and one for computational linguistics (unpublished). These lists have been revised and amalgamated, and new information fields (POS, abbreviation, primary field of usage) have been added. Terms from other fields, such as corpus linguistics, phonology, morphology, syntax, etc., have also been added. The intent is that this list will be revised, supplemented, and maintained continously, and any suggestions are therefore more than welcome. Where a field of usage is indicated next to a term, it should merely be seen as an indication of one of the fields where it is used. Only in a few cases have inflected, derived and/or related terms been added (e.g. "attach" as a verb, and "attachment" as a noun). |
