| الوصف: | Rhabdomyolysis has been reported in association with many viral infections and a few bacterial infections, especially Legionnaires' disease and Pneumoccocal pneumonia. Case reports are rare with psittacosis, and the etiology of rhabdomyolysis is unknown. We experienced one case of rhabdomyolysis accompanied with diabetes mellitus and psittacosis. We promptly instituted general control and he recovered without acute renal failure in two weeks. When the elevation of CPK is recognized in cases of atypical pneumonia, we consider it to be associated with rhabdomyolysis, and we should promptly initiate general control. |
