الوصف: Inverter-interfaced distributed generators play an important role in modern electrical distribution systems. Additional functionalities to improve power quality and support the grid can be incorporated into power inverters, making it a top trending topic. Considering this global trend where distributed generation systems have significantly increased their contribution to the energy matrix, grid codes are constantly being updated, and the operation and control of power electronic devices must consider current dynamics that lead to a safe and reliable transition scenario. In this context, this work presents a control system for a three-phase photovoltaic inverter operating in grid-following mode, which allows incorporating power factor correction and unbalanced load compensation functionalities into the photovoltaic system. Through this control system, it is possible to select the power components of the load to be compensated, which define the functionalities of active filtering to be integrated into the photovoltaic system to improve the power quality in distribution systems. The operation of the photovoltaic system is evaluated through simulations in the Matlab/Simulink platform, considering an unbalanced linear load and four different operating modes for the inverter according to the power components of the load to be compensated. The obtained results allow verifying the achievement of control objectives and show the advantages and disadvantages of the different operating modes considered for the power inverter. ; Los sistemas de generación distribuida conectados a la red mediante inversores juegan un rol importante en los sistemas eléctricos modernos de distribución.
