This scientific article studies the evolution of the American bureaucracy model during the presidency of Donald Trump. His time spent in the White House was marked by significant changes in approaches to governance and organization of the state machinery. The research aimed to analyze the specific changes introduced to the American bureaucracy model, as well as the factors influencing these changes, and their impact on the functioning of governmental institutions. The article examines a set of key aspects of the bureaucracy evolution during D. Trump’s administration, including reforms attempts in the structure of departments and agencies, alterations in the appointment and confirmation processes of officials, and interaction between the bureaucratic apparatus and political power. Special attention is given to the role of the president as a pivotal driver of changes within the bureaucratic management system. The study is based on the analysis of scientific literature on the topic. The findings indicate that D. Trump’s presidency prompted reforms in the organizational structure and operation of government entities. Some changes aimed to reduce bureaucratic burdens and expedite decision-making processes, while others triggered debates regarding the balance of power and the independence of bureaucratic entities. The complex nature of the set research goal and tasks led to the use of a complex methodological approach, based on the use of the systemic study possibilities. This involves a holistic studying of the US bureaucracy politics through the combination of conceptual and applied aspects. The method of system analysis was chosen as the leading one in this research. It is understood by the authors as an implementation of certain analytical procedures, which are a sequence of actions to establish structural connections between variables or components of the studied data set.
