Data were pooled across individuals for each area. Note that the available habitat was calculated from buffer zones around each territories’ nest location (i.e., from land cover vector layers and not from correlated random walks). Moreover, the last distance category in Denmark is 500–2000 m from the nest compared to 500–1000 m for Czech owls, because Danish owls moved further from the nest. |
