| الوصف: | Blood, Milk, Distance and Jokes: Articulations and Drying-up of Alliances in Maasina (Mali).Joking relationships in Maasina take place both between groups having contracted a pact of trust (hoolaare), the local version of so-called cathartic alliances, and between groups and individuals linked by joking kinship. With insult, avoidance, begging and mutual donations, joking relationships make up a set of markers in a wider system of distributions of counterposed collective identities (particularly ethnic identities). This system operates between two poles articulated by the disjunction (or dissimilation) and the consubstantialisation (through blood and milk) of the groups concerned and seems very influenced by territorial dimensions. In this article I will examine how these markers and boundaries can shift in the history of inter-group relations and I will show how these rational models are overshadowed, euphemized and manipulated in the context of contemporary reformulations of the paradigms of power and ownership. ; RÉSUMÉLes relations plaisantes se pratiquent au Maasina d'une part entre groupes ayant contracté un pacte de confiance (hoolaare), forme locale des alliances dites cathartiques, d'autre part entre groupes ou individus en relation de cousinage. Elles semblent constituer, avec l'insulte, l'évitement, le quémandage ou les dons réciproques, un ensemble de marqueurs dans un système plus général de distribution d'identités collectives (notamment ethniques) contraposées. Ce système opère entre les deux pôles articulés de la disjonction (ou dissimilation) et de la consubstantialisation (par le sang et le lait) des groupes concernés et semble très orienté par la dimension territoriale. On examine comment ces marqueurs peuvent glisser et les frontières se déplacer dans l'histoire des relations inter-groupes, et la façon dont les modèles relationnels sont occultés, euphémisés ou manipulés dans le cadre des reformulations contemporaines des paradigmes du pouvoir et de la propriété. |
