| الوصف: | [EN] Aspaym Avila day and rehabilitation center is configured as a small rectangular pavilion on the ground floor. In an area that is yet to be developed, it was decided to have an autonomous hermetic prism with strong material presence. When accessed through the only available opening, passing the hall way, it opens up towards the garden allowing a panoramic view of the whole interior. Volume consists of a laminated wood lid, opposed to a lower band formed by discontinuous walls of white wood cast concrete formwork with very marked slats. All of the walls reach up to 2.70 m in height and provide specific supports to the roof while shaping the buildings envelope. The walls are not perforated as the windows and doors serve as interstices between them. The white concrete plinth configures a more closed facade to the street and the other, discontinuous, to the garden. On the outside it offers an enigmatic image, though calm, which announces its institutional character. The horizontal wooden frieze suggests a front with classic reminiscences. However, the asymmetric plinth breaks this axiality on the corner in order to create an overhanging cantilever access porch. ; [ES] El Centro de día y rehabilitación Aspaym Ávila se configura como un pequeño pabellón rectangular de planta baja. En un entorno indiferenciado, cuando no agresivo, se ha optado por la autonomía de un prisma un tanto hermético, con una presencia material fuerte. Pero en cuanto se accede por la única abertura disponible, surge un vestíbulo pasante hacia el jardín que permite una panorámica hacia todo el interior. El volumen se compone de una tapa de madera laminada, contrapuesta a una banda inferior formada por muros discontinuos de homigón blanco encofrado con tablillas muy marcadas. Todos llegan hasta 2,70 m de altura y proporcionan apoyos puntuales a la cubierta, mientras configuran la envolvente.
