The article is devoted to the genre and stylistic features of one of the unique folk song genres - songs of sorrow. An attempt has been made to identify the characteristics of the impact of music on a person in a state of grief and mourning. The main analytical material was examined using the comparative method, which made it possible to establish the similarities and differences of musical and ritual phenomena in the ritual sphere, as well as to study the socio-historical development of funeral rituals in the folklore of different peoples. |
