الوصف: The article reflects the urgency of the problem of improving the professional training of future music teachers in the process of vocal performance. The theoretical aspects of the problem of forming the stage culture of vocal students are revealed. The paper describes the genesis of ideas about the concepts that are its components. The author substantiates the definition of the concept “stage culture of future music teachers”, which is considered as a complex integrated professional formation arising from the harmonious combination of general culture, vocal and technical skills, singing skills, artistically high-quality vocal performance experience, erudition in the field of musical art and developed performing – stage artistry and acting – the synthesis of vocal-performing, vocal-pedagogical, cognitive aspects of person’s cultural development. The multifaceted nature of this category finds its embodiment, in addition to vocal indicators, also in the manifestation of the aesthetic, ethical, spiritual qualities of future music teachers in the process of musical performance and pedagogical activity. This necessitates educational work with vocal students, which is aimed at shaping their axiological awareness of the importance of social and cultural activity, updating sociocultural reflection, at humanizing their consciousness and civic worldview. An integral component of a vocalist’s professional skills is artistry, an indicator of the quality of his personality, which reveals the richness and beauty of the performer’s inner world. The problems of the formation of stage culture are most widely covered in the field of theatrical pedagogy, being closely associated with the phenomenon of acting.
