One of the main difficulties that exist in order to design tools and machines to extract gel from plants of Aloe Vera is the lack of knowledge of the mechanical properties of the Aloe Vera leaves. In this document is presented in a general way the methodology and the results obtained in the design process and construction of a machine for the evaluation of the resistance to the penetration and the resistance to the compression of the leaves of Aloe Vera. ; Una de las principales dificultades que se tienen actualmente para diseñar localmente máquinas y herramientas para la extracción de gel de la planta de Aloe Vera, es el desconocimiento de las propiedades mecánicas de sus hojas. En este documento se presenta de manera general la metodología y los resultados obtenidos en el proceso de diseño y construcción de una máquina para la evaluación de la resistencia a la penetración y la resistencia a la compresión de las hojas de Aloe Vera. |
