الوصف: |
The purpose of this study was to characterize the biologically treated wastewater from a beverage industry to determine their efficiency in reducing the amount of nitrogen and phosphorus, as well as improving the chemical oxygen demand (COD) and biochemical oxygen demand (BOD). In this context, data of pH, total organic nitrogen, ammonia nitrogen, COD, BOD5, dissolved oxygen (DO), phosphorus, total suspended solids (TSS),volatile suspended solids(VSS), suspended solids dissolved (STD) and microscopic examinations at 2019 and 2020, obtained by the described in Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Wastewater, were studied by statistical analysis of variance and exploratory (hierarchical cluster). The data show that there is a differentiation of groups of microorganisms, 2019 (amoeboid and datomeas) to 2020 (filamentous bacteria). Despite the differentiation, factor A/M(quantity of “food”/quantity of microorganisms), suggests that the amount of "food" present in the effluent improved the efficiency of the treatment plant. Even so, the output data of the wastewater treatment indicated that phosphorus, TSS, COD and BOD are within the specifications of Resolution CONAMA 430/2011. Among the variables studied the compounds of nitrogen (NH3-N2 and N2-total) should be monitored more closely because of its high variability. Exploratory analysis divided the data in groups of two months suggesting that the process wastewater treatment has the same system. |
