Obsahem bakalářské práce je pojednání o zárukách zákonnosti ve veřejné správě se zamě-řením na postavení Nejvyššího správního soudu. V úvodu teoretické části jsou uvedeny právní záruky zákonnosti a kontrola veřejné správy. Dále zde popisuji historický vývoj správního soudnictví a přibližuji jeho současnou právní úpravu. Následuje charakteristika, organizace a funkce Nejvyššího správního soudu, a tak-též vybrané druhy řízení. V praktické části se bakalářská práce zabývá posouzením činnosti tohoto soudu v průběhu jeho existence, se zaměřením na kasační agendu. Tato část se rovněž věnuje charakteristice správního soudnictví ve vybraných evropských státech a jejich následnému porovnání. ; The bachelor thesis deals with guarantees of legality in public administration and focuses on the position of The Supreme Administrative Court. In the theoretical part are first of all presented guarantees of legality and control over pub-lic administration. Apart from this historical development of public administration is men-tioned and its current legal regulations are presented. The last chapter of the theoretical part introduces characteristics, organization and functions of The Supreme Administrative Court and also particular procedures. The analytic part of this thesis describes in the first place the activities of this court during its existence and consequently an emphasis on the cassation complaint is performed.
