| الوصف: | Lors des deux guerres mondiales au xxe siècle, deux mouvements intellectuels, littéraires et artistiques sont apparus qui partagent un trait commun : la mise en question de la langue estimée largement responsable des deux conflits, parce qu’usée. Le mouvement dada surgit pendant la Première guerre mondiale et le lettrisme pendant la Seconde. Ils remettent en cause tout l’appareillage linguistique, prônent le retour aux fondamentaux que sont les phonèmes et expérimentent d’autres termes et d’autres modes d’expression, dans lesquels graphismes et sonorités jouent un rôle essentiel. De très nombreux artistes et écrivains ont milité dans ces mouvements qui eurent une influence considérable, quoique passablement oubliée aujourd’hui, dans la littérature, la chanson, la peinture. ; In the 20th century, during the two World Wars, two intellectual, literary and artistic movements emerged, with one common characteristic : both raised the question of worn-out language as largely responsible for war. The Dadaist movement appeared during the first World War, and the Lettrists during the second. Both called the entire linguistic apparatus into question and advocated a return to the fundamentals, i.e. phonemes, experimenting with other terms and means of expression in which graphics and sounds had an essential role. A great many artists and writers joined these movements and exerted considerable influence – largely forgotten today – on literature, painting and song. |
