| الوصف: | The study in question is characterized as an analysis of the restrictive measures adopted by the Brazilian government to combat Covid-19 against individual and collective freedoms, as well as a parallel with international actions and the results of these actions. It is configured as a documental research with a dialectic approach, being the selected documents analyzed based on content analysis. As sources of information, the official documents published in the Official Gazette were used, strictly observing those that address the restrictive measures to combat the coronavirus, seeking to trace a rhetorical objective delineation for the progress of the study. It is observed, from this, that the Brazilian scenario faces a dichotomized and polarized vision between the actions of the Federal Government and those of the State Governments, adding to this the decisions of the Judiciary, reverberating the consequences of this in the political, social, and economic conflicts that emerge from the social reality in which the country is established. Finally, it is evident the need for the construction of solid elements and with a view to the rigor of the scientific method, the commitment to data and information, as well as the security of the analyses presented, reiterating the need for a social analysis of the prevention measures, in observance of the socioeconomic, educational, and political formation contexts of society. ; O estudo em questão caracteriza-se como uma análise quanto às medidas restritivas de combate ao Covid-19 adotadas pelo Governo Brasileiro frente às liberdades individuais e coletivas, bem como um paralelo com as ações internacionais e os resultados dessas ações.
