Cependant, une fois venue la scène du sacrifice proprement dite, les rôles sacrificiels se brouillent : qui est sacrifié, qui sacrifie et pour quoi ? En s'inspirant de clés herméneutiques fournies par l'anthropologie des sacrifices, cette communication entend analyser l’originalité bézienne des rapports entre Abraham et Isaac autour de cette scène décisive. À cet effet, elle s’appuiera, outre le texte, sur diverses sources d’inspiration de cette première « tragedie françoise » (Iphigénie à Aulis d’Euripide, mystères médiévaux et Jephthes sive votum de Buchanan). ; From the title of his theatrical adptation of Gen 22, 'Abraham sacrifiant' (1550), the Reformed Theodore de Bèze points out the main actor of his narrative and of the gesture ordered by God: the tragic persona of Abraham. However, once the scene of the sacrifice itself comes, the sacrificial roles become blurred: who is sacrificed, who sacrifices and for what? Drawing on hermeneutical keys provided by the anthropology of sacrifice, this paper intends to analyse the Bezian originality of the relationship between Abraham and Isaac around this decisive scene. To this end, in addition to the study of text, it will rely on various sources of inspiration for this first "tragedie françoise" (Euripides' Iphigenia in Aulis, medieval mystery plays and Buchanan's Jephthes sive votum). ; « Martyre et anti-martyre dans l’œuvre de Théodore de Bèze (ca 1543-1608) » |
