| الوصف: | Addressing the application of Biomechanics in School Physical Education classes is a challenging task, but of fundamental importance because of this discipline provide subsidies for teaching practice during the analysis, guidance, correction, prevention of injuries and understanding of movements in various sports and play. The technique of data collection was the application of structured interview through an online questionnaire developed in the Google Forms tool with open and closed questions, the participants of the research are 6 teachers of Physical Education of public and private school in the city of Manaus. In this sense, the objective of this study was to investigate if the teachers of Physical Education of public and private school in the city of Manaus apply the concepts/ fundamentals of Biomechanics in their classes. Thus, it was necessary to analyze whether teachers in Physical Education attended the discipline of Biomechanics in graduation, participated in courses or events with this theme, analyze whether the principles/ foundations of Biomechanics are applied during their professional practice, To verify which the contents applied by teachers in their classes are related to Biomechanics and to understand the universe of Biomechanics in School Physical Education. This is a descriptive qualitative research. The results obtained highlight that most of the teachers attended the discipline in graduation, participation in events with this theme no teacher participated in Biomechanics congress and as the applicability all affirmed to teach the concepts/ biomechanical principles in their pedagogical practice and cited content as an effect of mechanical force exerted on the body, movement analysis, anthropometric evaluation, correction of.
