الوصف: | The Fourth Industrial Revolution, also known as Industry 4.0, provides industries with improvements in productivity, service and the quality of products and services. This definition emerged in Germany in 2011, aiming to develop the concept of smart factories, that is, factories with a high degree of autonomy and flexibility, stimulating a country's competitiveness and economic development. Since then, industries have been trying to implement this new concept, many consulting companies and researchers in the field are developing maturity models to measure the level at which companies are implementing the concepts and technologies of Industry 4.0. However, it was found that it is difficult to measure the level of maturity in relation to industry 4.0 in companies that do not have the necessary knowledge about the new concept and that do not seek to implement even the minimum necessary components aligned to this new Industrial Revolution. Therefore, there are companies that are submitted to maturity models without being able to be measured yet. Given the context, this work aims to apply a readiness model in an industry in the food and process sector so that it can be measured at what level this company is in relation to the readiness model used based on the modeling criteria used. For this, a literature review was carried out to contextualize the characteristics, components and application of maturity models.
