Our study focused on discovering the resistance movements that emerged from independent theatre in opposition to the hegemonic cultural project of dictatorships. As an objective, we proposed to recover the collective memory from the period '65-83 in the city of Mar del Plata, selecting for this instance the Qualitative Research, hermeneutic-critical perspective. Within this framework, we paid special attention to the ethnographic elements, managing to unveil through staging, stories of the survivors and militants of this theatrical field, a vast compositional material that allowed us to collect the strategies and cultural action that these groups proposed in order to build bridges of resistance in our city. On the other hand, the organizations representing cultural hegemony are incorporated into the dispute and tension, and it emerges from the same research that this type of resistance has a predominant political character. In the definition of the conceptual framework, we have concentrated on three transversal axes of discussion, these are: politics, pedagogy and power. ; Nuestro estudio hizo foco en descubrir los movimientos de resistencia gestados desde el teatro independiente en contraposición con el proyecto cultural hegemónico de las dictaduras. Como objetivo nos propusimos recuperar en la actualidad del teatro independiente, la memoria colectiva procedente del período '65- 83 en la ciudad de Mar del Plata, seleccionando a esta instancia la investigación cualitativa, perspectiva hermenéutica-crítica. Dentro de este encuadre, prestamos especial atención a los elementos etnográficos, logrando develar a través de puestas en escena, relatos de los sobrevivientes y militantes de este campo teatral, un vasto material de composición que nos permitió recabar las estrategias y la acción cultural que plantearon estos grupos en pos de tender puentes de resistencia en nuestra ciudad.
