| الوصف: | I have been asked to address the question of what is the responsibility of the business community, those providing hardware, software and services, to assist in the transfer of remote sensing technology. By exclusion, let me suggest that the development of sensors, instruments, data processing systems or application programs for NASA or EROS not be part of the topic for consideration. This segment of the market, possibly the largest in dollar volume at this time, does not to my mind represent a transfer of remote sensing technology. However, other government agencies, including other segments of the Department of Interior do in fact represent potential users of the technology and must be included. |
