The subject of study is framed in the organizational culture and the use of metaphors. The objective of the research was to analyze the metaphors used by teachers about the dimensions of educational management in a School Education Institution in Arequipa. The information was collected through the application of a semi-structured interview directed to teachers; which showed that metaphor plays a fundamental role in the construction of social reality and whose meanings go beyond what literal language can offer us; that is to say, it is an unattainable mode of interpretation for reason. In the institution studied, no member is alien to the use of metaphors. For this reason, the findings of the metaphors analyzed show that the organization is managed as an educational community where the sense of belonging and human relationships, a system of shared values and a sense of belonging prevail notoriously. ; El tema de estudio está enmarcado en la cultura organizacional y el uso de las metáforas. El objetivo de la investigación fue analizar las metáforas que utilizan los docentes sobre las dimensiones de la gestión educativa en una Institución de Educación Escolar de Arequipa. La recolección de la información se realizó mediante la aplicación de una entrevista semiestructurada dirigida a docentes; lo que evidenció que la metáfora desempeña un papel fundamental en la construcción de la realidad social y cuyos significados van más allá de lo que el lenguaje literal puede ofrecernos; es decir, es un modo de interpretación inabarcable por la razón. En la Institución estudiada ningún miembro es ajeno al uso de las metáforas. Por ello, los hallazgos de las metáforas analizadas evidencian que la organización se maneja como una comunidad educativa donde el sentido de pertenencia y relaciones humanas, sistema de valores compartidos y sentido de pertenencia prevalecen notoriamente. |
