The test was reported to better define diagnosis, prognosis and efficacy of CF-directed therapies. The aim of this work is to evaluate, in larger cohorts, the automated analysis of images reflecting cholinergic or β-adrenergic stimulated sweat secretion obtained during a non-invasive version of the test. Methods: Cholinergically- or β-adrenergically-stimulated sweat secretion was obtained by iontophoresis of pilocarpine solution or by electroosmosis of solution with atropine, isoproterenol and aminophylline. Both solutions were conducted using Macroduct device (Wescor). Efficacy of drug delivery was previously evaluated by evaporimetry.
