الوصف: |
A monochrome postcard of Old St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Lewes, Delaware, a large church with a tall bell tower surrounded by a graveyard. The text on the front informs the reader that the parish was founded in about 1682. Miss Mildred Miner of Groton, Connecticut, received this postcard from her father. Miss Miner's dad wrote that it was cool after the storms the day before. Arthur H. Morris, Pharmacist of Lewes, Delaware, published this postcard. The Albertype Co. is credited. A postmark on the back indicates that this postcard was mailed from Lewes, Delaware. The postage stamp is a one-cent U.S. #632, Benjamin Franklin. The back of the postcard is labeled 0434 and 15.00. |
