In 2016, the Ministry of National Education conducted a study on ABİDE (Academic Skills Monitoring and Evaluation) to test the knowledge and skills of 8th grade students. It is aimed to establish a monitoring and evaluation system at national level with the ABİDE, which is planned to be implemented every two years. As it is the first application of ABİDE 2016 study in our country, it is very important to carry out the measurement invariance studies for the validity of the results. In addition, the most important factor affecting the students' achievements in recent years is shown as the quality of their teachers. Within the scope of this research, the measurement invariance of the students' success in the Turkish and Science courses was examined according to teachers’ education level and professional experience. Data obtained from the General Directorate of Measurement, Evaluation and Examination Services of the Ministry of National Education were used in the study. In the study, student answers and teacher questionnaire data which are given to multiple choice items in ABİDE 2016 Turkish and science tests were used. While all the data were used in the analysis made according to the professional experience, the sub-sampling method was used to examine the measurement invariance according to the education level. Factor 10 and Mplus 7 programs were used to analyze the data.
