الوصف: Background: Hormonal activity, nuclear atypia with grade in breast tumor is a great characteristic of tumors, which determines the selection of therapy and patientrsquo;s prognostics. Purpose: The main scope of present research was to establish the hormonal expression, grade of differentiation and nuclear atypia in case of breast cancer of NST type at non-diabetically women and possible statistical associations. Methods: were analyzed morphologically and immunohistochemically 41 primary breast cancers of NST type non-diabetically women, with no chemotherapy before surgery. The immunohistochemistry was made manually by using Sequenza ThermoShandon immunohistochemistry system: Progesterone receptor/16SAN27 antibody PGR-AB-L-CE, 15 minutes, Estrogen receptor/ 6F11antibody PA0009, 15 minutes, Bond Epitope Retrieval Solution 2 AR9640, 20 minutes, Bond Polymer Refine Detection System DS9800, 15 minutes Leica Biosystems were used. The cut-off for Estrogen receptor positivity was 27, Progesterone receptor positivity was 24. Cronbach#39;s alpha ndash; 0,6; Scott#39;s homogeneity ndash; 0,7. As statistics were Mplusmn;SD and Pearson correlation r. Results with ple;0,05 were considered statistically significant. Results: The mean age of women was 64,8plusmn;6,3. The distribution of cases by grade of differentiation was: G1 ndash; 4 cases; G2 ndash; 21; G3 ndash; 16. The nuclear atypia: 2 ndash; 12 ndash; 29,3%; 3 ndash; 29 ndash; 70,7%. The Estrogen receptor activity was evaluated as positive in 27 65,9% cases and negatives in 1434,1%. The Progesterone receptor activity was evaluated as positive in 24 58,5% cases and negative in 1741,5%. The Estrogen receptor correlation coefficient by Progesterone receptor, corelated positive r=0,78; p=0,000; The grade, positively correlated with nuclear atypia r=0,45; p=0,001. Conclusions: Nuclear atypia and grade is an important characteristic of tumors in the breast malignancy, which determines the patientrsquo;s prognostics, for the treatment is it very important the hormonal status. ...
