| الوصف: | International audience ; The financial situation of the family has a significant impact on the health, development and well-being of children. Moreover, the economic situation of families with children can also affect the reproductive plans of the population, which is an important conclusion for a scientifically sound demographic policy. The assessment of the economic situation of families with children is mainly based on annual data from the budgets of households with children. In our opinion, an additional tool for understanding the well-being of families with children is the measurement of the cost and relative cost of costs per child at certain stages of the child's life cycle, when the growth of costs can be predicted. These are moments inthe life of families with children, such as the birth of a child, going to the first grade, finishing school. Our motivation in the implementation of this study is to find new tools for assessing the material well-being of families with children at the macro level, taking into account that such an assessment will help to more specifically pursue a social policy aimed at increasing the well -being of children (and at the same time solve the problems of demographic policy). Our contribution to the issue of measuring the well-being of children and families with children at certain stages of the life cycle is the development andtesting of indices of the cost of newborn and first-grader kits in the regional context. |
