Given the present growing trend of products focused on a teenage audience in the streaming platforms, it is fundamental to provide their dialogues with verisimilitude both in the audiovisual original discourse and the dubbed one, in the framework of prefabricated spoken language (Chaume Varela, 2012). One of the features that exhibits greatest difficulties for its translation is the dubbing of sexual colloquial expressions and the profane language. We will assess the frequency of the use of this kind of language and analyze the translation strategies employed in the dubbing for Spain and Spanish-speaking Latin America countries, with a bilingual audiovisual corpus out of the third season of Sex Education (Nunn 2019). We have extracted data about the use of these expressions and the translation techniques applied by creating a series of records in order to obtain qualitative and quantitative data. ; Teniendo en cuenta el auge actual de los productos destinados a adolescentes en las plataformas de streaming, dotar de verosimilitud a los diálogos resulta fundamental tanto en el discurso audiovisual original como en el doblaje, en el marco de la oralidad prefabricada (Chaume Varela, 2012). Uno de los aspectos que presenta mayores dificultades para el traductor es el doblaje de las expresiones vulgares de índole sexual y el lenguaje soez. Detectaremos la frecuencia de uso de este tipo de lenguaje y analizaremos las estrategias empleadas en su doblaje para las culturas meta española y latinoamericana, mediante un corpus audiovisual bilingüe de la tercera temporada de la serie Sex Education (Nunn 2019). Hemos extraído las técnicas empleadas a través de la elaboración de fichas, para obtener datos cualitativos y cuantitativos tanto del uso como de la traducción de dichas expresiones. |
