In the world designed as a planetary site where modern means of communication are continually reducing the space between people, the society is in a continuous search for anything that could guarantee the achievement of the ultimate goal quickly and with little effort. The human language does not escape the tendency to resort to means that could reduce time and space either. There are various language phenomena and means in French, transmitting complete information by few elements, during a language exchange, a verbal or written interaction and thus allowing the realization of linguistic economy. It is a series of lexical and grammatical means ensuring the principle of economy in language. This article aims at analyzing some grammatical phenomena and means that could be used to express a large variety of things using a minimum quantity of time and effort. One of the most widespread phenomena of linguistic economy at the morphosyntactic level is considered the anaphora. We will examine not just the phenomena of anaphor and anaphoric words but also their role in the achievement and assurance of the economy principle in language. |
