| الوصف: | Before creating a product, it is essential to have a production process under control by considering simultaneously the three factors for the economy, the environment and society. These concepts are the starting point for the idea of a "green economy" applied to the fashion sector, which comes from a conception of the economy based on wellbeing and social equity and a significant reduction in environmental risks and enhancement of local manufacturing. The textile and clothing industry, and the fashion industry in general, is not only one of the most profitable sectors, but also one of the most environmentally damaging, in terms of energy and resources used, as well as simply in terms of pollution due to many production cycles that are outside the control of international environmental legislation. With regard to the fast fashion manufactures that have the greatest impact on the environment and those of slow fashion, this essay articulates a proposal for an analysis of slow fashion manufacturing linked to the Neapolitan man's tailoring sector called IGP, which from the world of slow food proposes a similar model for the fashion sector that characterises a brand called "Interwined Geographic Proficiency". |
