This study analyzes the impact of the global pandemic of COVID-19 on the tourism activity and experiences of park rangers in Los Glaciares National Park and Ischigualasto Provincial Park, Argentina. Using a qualitative approach, in-depth interviews and thematic analysis were conducted to explore the experiences and adaptations of park rangers during this period. The research reveals how the pandemic affected not only park operations, but also the emotional and occupational well-being of park rangers. Key adaptation strategies were identified, such as the implementation of prevention measures, the maintenance of protected areas, and the use of virtual training. In addition, the importance of organizational resilience and collaboration among different actors to mitigate the negative effects of the crisis was highlighted. The results suggest that, despite the challenges, park rangers showed remarkable resilience and continued commitment to conservation and sustainable park management. The study highlights the need to strengthen institutional support, especially in terms of psychological support, and to encourage innovation in protected area management to face future crises. It is concluded that the pandemic provided an opportunity to reflect on and improve management practices in protected areas, highlighting the importance of sustainability and environmental conservation in the context of tourism. ; El presente estudio analiza el impacto de la pandemia mundial de COVID-19 en la actividad turística y las experiencias de los guardaparques en el Parque Nacional Los Glaciares y el Parque Provincial Ischigualasto, Argentina.
