In the context of open science, scientific data management implies the development of a plan, which describes how the data will be managed, during and after research. Based on the assumption that the research data management plan is a formal document that guides the entire process of collection, organization, analysis, availability and reuse of data, this article seeks to analyze the scientific production on Data Management Plan indexed in Reference Database of Journal Articles in Information Science. This is an exploratory research, in terms of purposes and bibliographical, in terms of procedures. The analyzed corpus consists of fifteen articles categorized into theoretical or applied research and also based on their themes, methods and results. The analysis also consisted of verifying how the data management plan is mentioned in each research, in order to review the treatment of the topic in the Brazilian information science literature. The results made it possible to identify four studies that directly study the topic of data management plans from the point of view of their relationship with the FAIR principles, as an essential instrument in research data repositories and as a model for describing the research process as a all. ; En el contexto de la ciencia abierta, la gestión de datos científicos implica el desarrollo de un plan que describe cómo se gestionarán los datos durante y después de la investigación.
