الوصف: This paper assumes that practitioner-researchers are knowledge-creators, as well as users of the research of others. As professionals researching our own practice, in order to improve it and to generate and share their knowledge, we cannot avoid the inclusion of our own ‘I’s, within questions of the kind, ‘How do I improve my professional practice with values of human flourishing?’. Our perspective on researching scholarship of teaching and learning in diverse cultural contexts, with Living Educational Theory Research, includes a necessary condition. This is the conditiion of generating and sharing explanations of educational influences in one’s own learning, in the learning of others and in the learning of the social contexts within which the practice is located.
