الوصف: Humanity inaugurates its entry into the new millennium, immersed in deep crises. These situations motivate us to present some theses in the present reflection from the edge of Peace Education (EpP) as a horizon that facilitates the overcoming of some conflicts in times of crisis, in this sense it is expected to provide key ideas to meditate on the possibilities of renewal of the educational system as an imperfect, unfinished project, in continuous construction of the emerging, whether due to its academic commitment or social relationship. To this end, this text presents in the first and second sections a display of key notions surrounding the genesis of peace studies, peace education, curricular designs and the culture of peace, substantial elements that allow collective dialectics. to design a better education, as an expression of the desire and will of an increasingly democratic society, this being the greatest challenge in the 21st century, which progressively requires thinking about the school more in the landscape of the territory, than the map of the bureaucratic administration (Calvo, 2012), for this we will begin by describing some ideas from the conceptual approach of the antagonism of peace; war (polemology studies), especially the considerations that are generated later, as a government strategy, that is, peace as the absence of warlike actions (negative peace), and thus, subsequently generate a reflection of and for peace as proposal of social justice (Irenology). ; La humanidad inaugura su ingreso al nuevo milenio, inmersa en profundas crisis, dichas situaciones motivan a exponer algunas tesis en la presente reflexión desde la orilla de la Educación para la Paz (EpP) como un horizonte que facilita la superación de algunos conflictos en tiempos de crisis, en este sentido se espera aportar ideas claves para meditar las posibilidades renovaciones del sistema educativo como un proyecto imperfecto, inacabado, en continua construcción de lo emergente, ya sea por su compromiso académico o la relación ...
