Academic procrastination behavior is one of the factors hampering the learningprocess of students in almost all universities both in Indonesia and in the world. This studywas conducted to empirically examine the effect of Perfectionism on academicprocrastination of students of the Faculty of Psychology, University of August 17, 1945,Samarinda. This study involved 196 active students from the Faculty of Psychology,Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Samarinda. Determination of the research sample using adisproportionate stratified random sampling technique with an error rate of 5%. Researchdata were obtained using two types, namely, the Perfectionism scale and the AcademicProcrastination scale. The research data were analyzed using the Spearman correlationanalysis technique with the help of SPSS27 for Windows application. Based on the results ofthe analysis, it is known that there is no significant influence between perfectionism andacademic procrastination of students (p < 0.05).Abstrak. Perilaku Prokrastinasi Akademik menjadi salah satu faktor terhambatnya prosesbelajar mahasiswa hampir di semua perguruan tinggi baik di Indonesia maupun di dunia.Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengkaji secara empiris pengaruh Perfeksionisme terhadapprokrastinasi akademik mahasiswa Fakultas Psikologi Universitas 17 Agustus 1945Samarinda. Penelitian ini melibatkan 196 mahasiswa aktif dari Fakultas Psikologi Universistas 17 Agustus 1945 Samarinda. Penetapan sampel penelitian menggunakanteknik disproportionate stratified random sampling dengan taraf kesalahan sebesar 5%. Datapenelitian diperoleh menggunakan dua jenis yaitu, skala Perfeksionisme dan skalaProkrastinasi Akademik. Data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis korelasiSpearman dengan bantuan aplikasi SPSS27 for windows. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diketahuibahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara perfeksionisme dengan prokratinasiakademik mahasiswa (p < 0,05). |
