الوصف: The article addresses the theme of memory of the Great Patriotic War in the stories of 1990s–2000s by V. Tokareva. The writer, whose work is traditionally considered within the framework of “women’s” literature, in the works of recent decades continues and updates the artistic traditions of “lieutenant” prose created by veteran authors of 1941–1945. The focus is made on forming in readers of different ages a sense of involvement in the fate of the Motherland and a respectful attitude to those, who gave us the Ninth of May of 1945 as the Day of Victory over Fascism.
