The transition from 5G to 6G technologies needscomprehensive experimental infrastructure to serve as earlyplaceholders for validation of 6G Technologies as Proof ofConcepts. Such infrastructure is vital for demonstrating thebenefits of these technologies in terms of Key PerformanceIndicators (KPIs) and Key Value Indicators (KVIs), employinga repeatable and automatable testing methodology. However,the prohibitive cost of constructing proprietary testbeds forvalidation poses a significant challenge for many institutions.This underscores the imperative for shared, cost-effectiveexperimental infrastructure that is accessible under reasonableconditions and capable of continuous upgrades to accommodateevolving 6G innovations. |
